Decotar |
Retardant for concrete surfaces
Properties:
- Manufacture of pieces of artificial stone, dry look
- we have six types, which you use depending on the grain size grading of the concrete and the finish of the desired surface
- Types: 10 ÷ 60. The level of attack rises progressively depending on the numeration
- Grain size grading/type: 0-1 mm/10 1-5 mm/20-30 5-10 mm/40 and 10-40 mm/50-60
Application:
- Shake the product; it has a tendency to settle. Apply Decotar with a brush or roller in a uniform fashion over a clean mould. Let the product dry: when the dissolvent evaporates you will notice a uniform layer stuck to it, later fill the mould with the concrete mix.
- The pieces can remain in the mould for 48 – 72 hours, without loosing the surface's finish. The result will be a surface effect that adheres completely to the dry look
Characteristics:
- Output: 10 m²/kg
- Density: 1 g/c.c
- Presentation: 25 kg container

Decotar-Aqua |
|
| Retardant for concrete surfaces It is a water based product that acts by slowing down the hardening of the cement in the superficial part of the concrete, leaving the surface the same as with the “dry look” once it has dried. This effect allows you to obtain panels, non-slip paving, and swimming pool crowns, etc. from pieces of concrete, that have a decorative washed concrete look, with great regularity on all of the washed surface.
- Decotar-Aqua 1 and 2: grain size grading 0 6 mm
- Decotar-Aqua 3 and 4: grain size grading 4 8 mm
- Decotar-Agua 5: grain size grading 8 12 mm
- Decotar-Agua 6: grain size grading 10 12 mm
Application:
- In mould:
- Shake the product before use as it tends to settle
- The moulds should be free of the release agent and dirt and should be dry
- Apply it pure on the mould surface forming a continuous and uniform layer with the help of a short haired roller or with a spray gun (sulphur spray gun)
- Let the product dry in the mould
- Once dry pour the concrete in
- In concrete:
- Shake the product before use as it tends to settle
- Apply the product to the concrete with a spray gun once it has been levelled and smoothed, the run off should have finished in between 15 and 30 minutes, or when the excess superficial water has disappeared from the concrete
- Do not leave containers open after use. Clean all the tools used for the application with water (rollers, brushes, spray guns…).
- Removing moulds:
- Under normal conditions remove the mould between 16 and 24 hours after filling and wash with high pressure water
- It will have a dry look after washing
- With small prefabricated pieces it is possible to clean it with a hard brush with plastic teeth and later clean it with normal water to eliminate any traces of cement
- Any powder left in the mould can be left to dry and then eliminated with help of a brush
Characteristics:
- Output: 8 12 m²/kg
- Density: 1 g/c.c
- Presentation: 20 kg
* To obtain a good result the surface should end up with a homogeneous colour
Hygiene and safety:
- Water based product, non toxic, non contaminating, non flammable, avoid contact with your eyes. In case of contact with your eyes, clean with abundant water

Decofluid 2 |
Fluidizing agent for concrete
Properties:
- Ultimate generation of super fluidizing agent
- Its excellent capacity for dispersion makes Decofluid.2, the ideal additive for construction that needs an extremely low water/cement ratio, in order to obtain concrete that maintains a consistently high initial and final resistance
- Excellent fluidizing and/or water reducing capacity (even higher than 35%)
- High consistency maintenance
- Reduces the formation of cavities and gravel nests
- Increases the initial and final resistance of the concrete when used as a water reducer
- Improves waterproofing and durability of the concrete because it reduces its porosity
- It allows you to obtain fluid concrete with a low water/cement ratio, without separating or bleeding
- It allows you to make concrete at low temperatures without loosing initial resistance
- Improves the finish and texture of the concrete's surface
Dosage:
- The normal dosage of Decofluid 2 is between 0.7 and 1.4% of the cement weight, these doses can be raised or lowered depending on your fluidness, water reduction, initial and final resistance needs. We recommend that you do a test run to determine the optimum dosage
Application:
- It is an additive that should be added directly to the concrete mix as a separate component
- You can obtain optimum fluidness by adding it just after adding water to the mix
Characteristics:
- Density at 20ºC: 1.05 ± 0.02 g/c.c
- Presentation: 25 and 220 litre containers

Viacem |
Hardening and setting accelerant without chloride
Properties:
- Accelerant effect
- Reduces the initial and final hardening times
- Allows you to increase the production rhythm of the pieces
Application:
- Add it to the mix with the water
Characteristics:
- Output: The recommended dosage oscillates between 1 and 2% of the cement weight, although it can be varied depending on the desired effect, the temperature and the type of cement. A test run allows you to determine the percentage
- Density: 1.33 ± 0.01 g/c.c
- pH solution 1%: 3,5 ± 0,2 (v/v)
- Viscosity: 23 ± 3 CPS (at 25°C)
- Presentation: 38 and 165 kg containers

Decogel |
Superficial paint stripper
Description:
- Concrete paint stripper for obtaining acid cleaned pieces
- Apply it to smooth concrete to get a micro-deactivated look similar to stone
Properties:
- A pasty acidic product which acts slowly and uniformly on concrete surfaces
Application:
- Use it pure, without diluting
- Shake the product well before use
- Thoroughly wet the piece with water and spread the product on the surface with a paintbrush or brush and rub it in
- Let it act for a few minutes and rinse it off with abundant water
- Rinse it off again with abundant water, if possible hot and high pressure water
- Do not let the product dry on the concrete: white areas may appear
Characteristics:
- Output: varies depending on each case A test run allows you to determine the necessary quantity, between 150 and 300 g/m²
- Presentation: 35 kg container
- Hygiene and safety:
- Acidic product, avoid contact with the eyes and prolonged contact with the skin
